Since 1984, Lawson Courts has been a leader in the construction of tennis, basketball and other recreational courts in the state of Florida. Full Job Description Lawson Courts is looking to immediately hire hard working individuals as installers/laborer's (will train) and supervisors (with tennis court construction experience), for sport surfacing projects. Experienced court surfacing applicants are a plus but we will train. The hourly rate range of $15-$20 hourly for laborer's & $25.00 + for experienced individuals. Responsibilities Include: The proper use of construction tools such as tape measure, generator, grinder and other power tools. Keeping construction equipment and tools clean, organized and stored in an orderly manner after each use. Preparing materials and tools to go to the jobsite. Work with Supervisor to ensure the finished court meets expectations. Actively comply with all safety requirements. Reporting to work on time with a positive attitude, along with the ability and desire to work your shift, to eight hours or more. We usually work Monday through Friday. Maintaining a brisk and productive pace of activities to complete the job assigned to you in the time anticipated.. Working well with other team members, helping them with various tasks as time and opportunity allow. Maintaining good communication with your team, your supervisor and sub-contractors on the job. Requirements: Have a valid driver's license and good driving record Have reliable transportation Must be willing to travel to other cities if necessary Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
