The Merchants of Historic Downtown Northport on Tuesday, Dec. 7, will transform downtown into a living storybook for the outdoor Victorian Christmas celebration, with scenes pulled straight from Charles Dickens' classic tale "A Christmas Carol."
Dickens Downtown, which has been a popular fixture for over two decades, will begin at 5 p.m. and last until 8 p.m. Attendees can expect "snow," live music, caroling and other holiday merrymaking.
The City of Northport said this year's event will focus on the outdoor celebration, due to ongoing health and safety concerns due to the pandemic.
