The person who fills this position will thrive in our multi-tasking environment, be energized by staying ahead of schedule in a fast-paced setting, and will work closely with the leadership of our organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Loads and unloads truck. • Loads and unloads and moves materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand and/or forklift to designated areas. • Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code. • Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for the assembly line. • Counts weighs and records numbers of units of materials or marks information on cases, pallets, other containers. • Lifts heavy objects by hand or with a power hoist and cleans the work area. • Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products. • Follow directions directed by the supervisor. • Performs other job duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must have good listening skills and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School diploma or GED. Ability to follow directions.
