FIORLA is a California-based luxury loungewear brand that lets the busy modern woman move seamlessly from day to night in style, elegance and comfort. FIORLA’s versatile, collectible designs feature custom jewel-toned solids expertly finished in the finest quality silks, cashmere and cotton. The internship includes: • Selection and inventory control of fabrics and trims • Sourcing of trims • Meeting with contract textile cutters • Delivery of patterns to factory • Delivery of fabrics to dye house • Delivery of cut pieces for fabrication • Pick-up of finished pieces • Shipping of individual orders and shipping of samples • Delivery of finished goods to store and boutiques The successful candidate • Must be able to provide own reliable car; mileage will be reimbursed • Is able to work between 15-20 hours per week with the opportunity for additional hours. • Is likely a current student or recent graduate of FIDM • Textile experience is a plus • Retail sales experience with luxury clothing brands is a plus • Shopify experience highly desired Please apply with a resume and cover letter describing your fashion experience and the skills you would bring to the job.
