Description
Handyman/maintenance person needed for the occasional small maintenance request. I manage 10 units in 3 different properties in Auburn, ME. I'm looking for someone who's available to handle various small odd jobs, maintenance requests, and other odds and ends.
The pay will be hourly (minimum $30/hour cash). You'll be paid for travel time needed as well, including driving time to the property, any hardware store or home depot, etc... Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience, but minimum $30/hour. Payment can be issued daily as the work is performed
Work may include:
- Light paint touchups and drywall repair
- Installing new electrical fixtures, such as lights or outlets (nothing at the panel or meter)
- Installing new plumbing fixtures, such as faucets, toilets or drains, etc. Nothing major.
- Occasional site visits for visual inspections of the basement, roof and exteriors for any noticeable issues or damages
- Light carpentry work, such as repairing wood decks or railings
Work will be given as it arises, with very flexible hours. It'll generally be scheduled M-F, 8-5, fitting the work into your schedule as it comes. Weekends work too if it aligns with the tenants and your schedules.
Depending on your skill set and desire, there are opportunities for larger jobs down the road.
