Knitter Contracting is looking to hire motivated, intelligent and capable individuals with the skills and knowledge required to assist current employees perform their jobs in an efficient manner, which will help push our company to the next level. Requirements Ability to listen, read and comprehend any task given. Assist senior employees with tasks in order to maintain job production. Have basic knowledge of materials commonly used on construction sites. Operate basic power tools such as saws and drills, as well as reading a tape measure to a 16th of an inch. Perform physical duties to include accessing ladders, scaffolding, roof tops, bending, stooping, lifting up to 100 pounds, and basic material handling. Must have ownership of general hand tools for construction trades. Maintain a clean jobsite and take responsibility of your work areas. Must have reliable transportation as job sites vary in location. What we expect This position comes with the expectations that you are a hard-working individual. The type of person who takes pride in their work and is accountable for the work they produce. We expect that an employee will be available for a minimum of 40 hours a week, with opportunity for overtime. A regular work day is typically 7:00-3:30. Maintain quality workmanship within a timely manner while maintaining proper safety practices.
