Our company performs installations of both new and used laboratory / hospital equipment to universities, clinics, hospitals, and pharmaceutical industries. We are looking for a potential candidate who will be capable of managing incoming freight, uncrating, loading into trucks and performing inside, white glove delivery. We also repair faulty equipment at our shop; therefore, the candidate will also be responsible for picking up equipment from locations. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining the appearance of the shop/warehouse. Job Responsibilities: • Deliver, setup new lab equipment that will be installed. • Receive, uncrate and load freight being delivered to the office. • Removal of old equipment from facilities • General maintenance and cleanliness of the shop area and truck. - Team Player - Fast paced job- Must be able to adapt to any type of job - Jobs to be completed quickly but with safety always in mind - Must be friendly & courteous - Must be Neat & Punctual - Good Communication skills - Be Clean cut & Professional - Pass a Background Check - Clean Driving Record - Own transportation to work - Valid drivers license Candidate must have the following qualifications: (1) Operate a forklift independently (2) Clean driving record (3) Capable of driving 16’ box truck and being a passenger (4) Work with hand and power tools to assemble said equipment (5) Navigate the NY metro area (6) Ability to lift 50 – 150 lbs. Expectations of candidates: (1) Flexible start times are required.(Early AM) (2) The equipment being installed / delivered is always of high value, therefore there is expectation that the equipment is installed / stored neatly, and free of defects. **** Please Note: a resume is Required to be considered for this job & interview*******
