My name is Jeremy Mazuca. I grew up around many professional musicians. My mom taught me to sing at a very young age. I just never really enjoyed performance. I preferred to listen rather than to play. I was a music industry major at UIW in San Antonio TX, but dropped out because I wasn't really learning anything new. I have a cousin who is a film composer. He teaches musicians how to make movie trailer music and how to get into the industry. Several of my family members are musicians. I briefly owned a record label when I was younger. At that time I was naïve and didn't know what I was getting into. I also have worked as an A and R director for a few talent agencies in Austin Texas. I did everything from music management, talent scouting, booking, and music marketing. I was best at talent scouting. I left because the record labels and talent agencies didn't treat the musicians fairly. I do miss A and R. If I could find an honest business, I would do it again. I am a disabled Army veteran with Parkinson's disease. I live check to check. I want to do something with my music talent because I feel that if I don't, I'm wasting it. I was wondering if anyone has work for me to put my ear to use. I keep encountering fakes and flakes here. Serious inquiries only.
