Soundscaping Guitarist With an Edge Wanted

We have the singer, bass, and drums. Now we need the final part: Your Guitar Prowess. We're starting out with covers along the line of dream pop/shoegaze/alternative/grunge. Many of the songs we are working have a hard rock edge, but we really want someone who isn't afraid to get creative with sounds/effects AND can throw out a rocking solo when needed. If you enjoy the work of Robert Fripp/Adrian Belew, Brian Futter, Reeves Gabrels, Kim Thayil, Johnny Marr, David Gilmour, and Mick Ronson, that might give you an idea of what we're looking for. Reply to the ad for our current working setlist and some original music. We practice weekly and our goal is to gig out by spring, and do shorter setlists at open mics in the meanwhile for exposure/experience. :)
