Apex Lock and Key Locksmith is looking for someone to join our dedicated group of trained locksmiths. This is an entry-level full-time position great for someone looking to become a licensed Locksmith with growth in commercial, residential, and automotive Locksmithing. This opportunity has the flexibility to become a full-time position for the right candidate at a later date. Responsibilities of this position: Clean, sanitize, and organize shops and vans Cutting residential, commercial and automotive key blanks using powered key cutting machines. Greet customers and answer inquiries. Stocking key inventory. Programming domestic and foreign vehicle keys. Automotive Cylinder Repair/Replacement. The Right Candidate: Punctual Team-player Automotive experience is a plus Knowledge of hand and power tools Great customer service Clean background to qualify for North Carolina State Locksmith Licensing Valid Driver's License Please do not call about this open position. Schedule: Monday to Friday(Some Saturdays may be required) COVID-19 considerations: We offer Curbside Service and Mobile Service only at this time. All in shop customer interactions will be outside at their vehicles. Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Preferred) Locksmith License (Preferred) Work Location: Multiple locations Hours per week: 38-40 Typical start time: 8AM Typical end time: 5PM This Job Is: A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma.
