Reptiles looking for new homes

Description

I will be seeking qualified retirement homes for some of my animals who are unable to be part of future exhibit programs. These are animals who are currently receiving long-term care, but I feel would do best in a private pet home where they will get more personal attention. They are safe and well cared for, and will remain with me until the appropriate qualified homes are found. Please read full descriptions. "Yosemite" is an adult sinaloan milksnake/corn snake hybrid of unknown age who has been through a lot. He was originally surrendered to my former rescue as an abandon case in 2015. He had been adopted and returned several times since then. He has some distrust in people and does not like being handled. He is active and curious, but has a habit of becoming easily stressed & going off-feed if there is a lot of commotion around his enclosure. He would do best in a quiet home without small children or noisy pets. He eats well on thawed frozen mice when he is comfortable. He has his own 36"x18"x18" Exoterra terrarium, all accessories, and lighting that can come with him for an additional fee of $150. "Shelton" is a European Legless lizard of unknown age. He was originally purchased by me to be used in educational exhibit programs. Unfortunately Shelton is not fond of public appearances and does not like being handled and appears obviously stressed when there is lots of commotion. Despite this he is very curious and active, eating well on a variety of protein items including pre-made foods, insects, and pinky mice. He is currently housed in a 5.5'x24"x18" PVC enclosure with sliding glass doors that he seems to be doing very well in. I would not recommend moving him to something any smaller. His habitat, accessories, and equipment may be included with him for an additional fee of $250. Qualified homes would be considered those who have experience in reptile care, are able to accommodate the specific needs of the animals described, and have a stable living situation: must have a pet-friendly apartment or house and be at least 21yrs old. Please be willing to provide pics & description of current habitats, and/or a good reference/recommendation from your experience in animal care. Please contact me directly for more details or questions. Located in North Haverhill, NH - Pickup is preferred, but delivery anywhere in NH/VT can be arranged for an additional fee.
