Job description Experienced Grounds Maintenance/Landscape Tech (Edgewater/New Smyrna Beach, FL) We are an outdoor services company looking for a FULL TIME landscape/grounds maintenance technician with experience. We seek a candidate with the desire for a LONG TERM CAREER in the green industry.Our ideal candidate will have a MINIMUM of 2-3 years landscaping and/or grounds maintenance experience including proficient operation of standard grounds maintenance equipment. Applicant should also be familiar with proper pruning/trimming techniques and should be able to identify and name prominent local plants and trees. AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT WE REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING: -VALID FLORIDA DRIVER'S LICENSE WITH A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD -INITIATIVE -High Regard for Attention to Detail -Good Communication Skills -Well Kept Appearance -Ability to work hard for long hours in Florida climate -Bilingual is a plus. Candidates that hold a current pesticide license, FNGLA or PLANET certificate, or irrigation license are STRONGLY encouraged to apply.All candidates selected for interview will be required to provide a minimum of three references (2 business and 1 personal) and pass a basic landscape/grounds maintenance test. They will also be asked to complete a pre-employment questionnaire to determine eligibility. All employees are subject to background and drug screening. Should you become a member of our team, you can expect a starting wage of $12 to $15 per hour. All employees qualify for our 401(k) retirement Plan and Paid Time Off after completing their 90 day probationary period.
