Join us in an African-Centered presentation, Healing Circle Facilitator Appreciation Reception and 2022 Winter Course Registration. The Institute of African Centered Thought (IACT's) recent 9th Ancestral Healing Conference last month was successful! A collective community experience between King-Pierce Counties. The Conference was a collaborative effort of our communities. The outcome reflects our goals and purpose to provide a voice for the voiceless through ancestral communication, understanding to the misunderstood, the breath of life for the living and the opportunity of choice to grow and heal through continuing education based on the spiritual principles of African Centered Thought! African Centered Thought is not Afrocentric, nor is it a multicultural model. For these reasons few Black Psychologists and Psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to include social workers, LICSWs, etc., do not operate from an African Centered Thought position because this training simply is not offered in general psychology or mental health training programs. The programs that do offer what is described as African Centered Thought is mostly based on general non-African Centered Thought paradigms and frameworks. After two decades of observation and studies in this area, and studying personal and non-personal family healing patterns and systems, ANCESTRAL HEALING was birthed and is based on a Yoruba etiology, a premise of African Centered Thought which is also the basis for Root Psychology. Ancestral Healing is a mandatory approach taught throughout IACT's programs and courses and the only outcome is SUCCESS! We are proud to recognize and appreciate these successful Learners who were certified and have completed our Ancestral Healing Circle Facilitator and Practitioner programs. These Learners have included an African Centered framework within their work to improve the human condition. In moving forward, please join us and always let your Light shine!
