Malifaux winter team tournament Join us for our 4'th Annual Rasputina's December Ball Tournament! This year will be an experimental team format. Your teammate will change every round based on tournament standing. You will use the same master for every round, but each game you can tailor your crew to find new synergies with your teammate. This format is meant to be an exercise in creative crew building and finding exciting interactions none of us have seen before. Tournament Entry: $10 Schedule: Registration: 12:00 - 12:30 Round 1: 12:30 - 3:15 Break: 3:15 - 3:30 Round 2: 3:30 - 5:45 Dinner Break: 5:45 - 6:30 Round 3: 6:30 - 9:00 We will use the Team Tournament rules as presented in Gaining Grounds Season 2, with some changes: • Fixed Leaders • Singles (no hiring second masters) • 30ss hiring pool per teammate • Scoring is allowed Turn 1 o Team games can take much longer than a traditional game, this change will hopefully allow more meaningful turns in a game unlikely to reach Turn 5 New models from Malifaux Burns will be allowed. For Title masters, you may use any sculpt of the master, as long as they are on the correct base size. For other new models, an appropriate proxy must be fielded (if in doubt, contact your TO Cole). To prevent issues that come with randomly assigned partners, ideally, we do not have any players fielding the same masters. To this end, leaders can be claimed on a first come, first served basis when you RSVP for the event. If this proves problematic, we will scrap this idea, and avoid the same master being paired up wherever possible. This is a very experimental format, so details are subject to change on the day of the tournament. Come ready to have some fun, and experience Malifaux the way no one else ever has!
