Learn to cook a vegan/vegetarian version of the traditional holiday menu with a focus on soup and side dishes. Students will make several vegan and vegetarian alternatives to different side dishes. We will discuss the difference between veganism and vegetarianism, and also discuss healthier substitutions for foods linked to diet-related diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and obeisity.
