Pain d’Avignon is a small business with a serious passion for the craft of bread and pastry making, and for the enjoyment of eating them. We produce fresh breads and pastries daily from our commissary in Long Island City for our clients, as well as our three retail locations at Moxy Times Square, Dekalb Market Hall and Essex Street Market.
We are seeking passionate and dedicated experienced mixers to join the team and produce doughs that follow our core integrity: simple, natural, fresh.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $20 per hour based on experience.
Responsibilities
The Mixer needs to meet the daily production goals for baked goods. That means preparing the dough, and letting it bulk ferment. Mixers will produce according to recipes provided and will ensure that the products produced in the bakery meet our quality standards while maintaining a clean and sanitary food area. We will also need flexibility in working weekends, nights, early morning hours and holidays. Holidays are paid at time and a half.
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift 50 Pounds
Able to be on their feet for 8 hours.
