Ethics "R" You Compliant? (Live CE Class) NAR's Board of Directors approved a change to the Code of Ethics training requirement, extending it from every two years to every three years. This extends the current cycle deadline from Dec. 31, 2020, to Dec. 31, 2021. ALL REALTORS® are required to complete ethics training that meets specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS®. The TREC Legal II course required to renew your license no longer satisfies the NAR requirement for REALTOR® Code of Ethics training. The current deadline by which all REALTORS® must take the training is December 31, 2021. NOTE: All participants wanting CE credit have to sign-in/present ID prior to the start of class at 10:00 AM on December 16th, 2021. Registration open at 9:30 AM & all participants has to be inside the class room before 10:00 AM in order to receive their credit. Not sure if you are compliant? Check your COE status here. *If you took TREC Legal Update II in 2019, you have fulfilled the COE requirement for the current cycle. *If you took TREC Legal Update II any time after 2019, you will need to complete an NAR-approved COE training before December 31, 2021 (if you haven’t already done so).
