Story time with Mrs. Claus in the Gathering Room at the Nathaniel Conklin House Join us for story time with Mrs. Claus in the Gathering Room at the Nathaniel Conklin House on Tuesday, December 7th. Two seatings 10:15-10:45 AM and 10:45-11:15 AM. $5/child. Must be accompanied by an adult. Reservations required. The Nathaniel Conklin House was built by Nat Conklin back in 1803 and moved to its current location in 1870 where it has underwent several changes in ownership. In 1989, the house was in danger of being torn down. A group of concerned citizens, together with the Village of Babylon, saved the house and it is now owned by the Village of Babylon. Run by a Steering Committee, the mission of the Nathaniel Conklin House is to bring forth culture, education and history for the betterment of our Village.
