EMS Response to Large Scale Incidents - Awareness Level
This course was developed by the The Incident Support and Operational Planning Unit (ISOP), an area of responsibility within the former UMDNJ Center for BioDefense.
This entry level program prepares the Emergency Medical Services provider or First Responder for response to a “high profile” or large scale incident. Topics to be covered include recognizing and preparing for the large scale incident, scene safety, triage tags and sorting of multiple casualties, the S.T.A.R.T. system, and treatment and transport of the injured.
This course is approved for 4 NJ EMS CEUs.
This event is being hosted by the Southern NJ EMS Collaborative. A 501 c(3) non-profit formed to train first responders. All proceeded go to NJ first responder training.
