I am an experienced lead guitar player and have played in many bands. I've just retired from the military and am looking to put together a long term rock band. I love to play southern rock, classic rock, blues, hard rock, 80's and 90's rock. I am not at all a country or metal player. I could probably pull off the occasional country song but it isn't where my experience is. I have two PA systems, enough microphones for everyone, and a small jam space in my basement. I figure we'd start out simple; jam to see what comes natural and go from there. I'd like to work up to gigging a couple times a month. I can sing lead and harmony but am limited on range. I'd like to have someone who has a higher range and can also sing harmony so we can cover more ground. I'm primarily a covers player. I've been in a couple bands that did originals: it was cool but we didn't pull crowds. And I'm not looking to cut records or go to LA. I have several YouTube videos covering a few of the bands I was in. I'll send you links if you'd like. All I'm looking for is a limited-drama band that sounds good and works hard.
