WestRock Warehouse Clerk FULL-TIME $17.17/hr 5800 W Grand River Ave, Lansing, MI 48906 The compensation range for this position is $12.62-17.17, based on experience. Deliver raw materials and finished goods to the appropriate departments upon request in a timely manner. Maintain an organized and clean warehouse. Accurately track material movements in and out of the warehouse by making the appropriate entries into the computer. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Understands of the importance of inventory management and overall function. • Completes training and maintains for forklift and other equipment as needed. • Basic computer competencies (Excel, Microsoft Word proficiency). • Understands FIFO and LIFO. • Stages product from warehouse to work areas. • Requires proper reporting procedures for non-conforming product within the warehouse. • Conducts daily walk around on fork truck to inspect for safety and battery replacing if needed. • Understands material identification methods. • Maintains baler and is familiar with the general operation of equipment. • Maintains baler and is familiar with the general operations of equipment. • Handles chemical solvents in accordance with trained standards. • Handles hazardous materials in accordance with trained standards. • Assists receiving dock when needed. • Works overtime as needed with or without notice.
