12th Annual Red Rose Ball Windber Area Community Kitchen, WACK, is a nonprofit organization serving Bedford, Cambria, and Somerset counties home cooked meals with compassion since 2009. Alleviating hunger and loneliness are the heart of our mission in serving others. The Red Rose Ball is our biggest fundraiser of the year and a night to enjoy with your loved ones while supporting a great cause. The event includes a night of music provided by DJ Jack Labarko, photo booth, dinner by Flair of Country, dancing, 50/50, basket raffle, beer, and wine. The guest MC this year will be Sean Eiler. Windber Area Community Kitchen, WACK, is a nonprofit organization serving Bedford, Cambria, and Somerset counties home cooked meals twice a month with compassion since 2009. Alleviating hunger and loneliness are the heart of our mission in serving others. Through our backpack program we provide non-perishable, single serve food items to students who may experience food insecurities over the weekend and extended breaks.
