SUDBURY, MA — A bridge in Sudbury that has been closed to drivers for about six months reopened on Wednesday, according to the town. The Dutton Road Bridge over Hop Brook closed on June 1 for a complete replacement. During the project, only local drivers could pass through the construction area between Pratts Mill Road and Moore Road just south of Hudson Road. The bridge replacement was supposed to be done by the end of August, but lasted several months longer due to a host of issues, according to the town. "Thank you DPW for persevering through rain, supply chain issues and other challenges to complete this important project, and thank you to everyone for your patience during construction. Enjoy the new bridge," the town said in a Wednesday Facebook post.
