SOMERVILLE, MA — Police in Somerville are seeking a person of interest in connection with vandalism at a local business. Police said the vandalism happened in the area of Highland Avenue and Cedar Street. A video shared on TikTok showed a man appearing to deface a Black Lives Matter mural painted on the window of a salon. The footage was taken from the shop's Nest camera, and video of the aftermath showed the word "Black" spray-painted over. The incident happened Nov. 26 at HAIR by Christine and Co., according to the video.
