POLK COUNTY, FL — A Polk County man has been banned from local parks for 10 years after deputies accused him of soliciting an undercover detective for sex, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said.
Donald Wayne Johnson, 69, allegedly touched himself inappropriately as he invited an officer to engage in sexual acts with him Tuesday at Saddle Creek Park, investigators said. Deputies issued a trespass order from all county parks for a 10-year period. Johnson faces charges of offering to commit a lewd act.
"This is completely unacceptable," Sheriff Grady Judd said. "Polk County parks are places where families and children go to enjoy the outdoors - they should never have to encounter disgusting acts like these. We will continue to patrol our public parks and to arrest people who publicly engage in lewd activity."
