Many of the wineries represented in the portfolio produce a very limited number of cases; some as little as 500 cases a year. Each winery has a story about how they came to be a part of the Wine Theory portfolio, whether they were a recommendation from a mutual friend in the industry, or their wines were discovered over dinner while traveling, each producer has been hand-selected for this unique portfolio. Working with smaller producers allow Ryan and Leah the opportunity to build relationships with each winemaker. These relationships are very important -- as we know, wine is emotional and the best wines are those that you will remember for not only the taste, but for the complete experience. About Ryan & LeahRyan & Leah fell in love with wine in Portugal in 2006. For their 5th wedding anniversary, they visited the Douro River Valley and the wineries in that region. At the time, they knew very little about wine; however, they quickly learned that this would develop into a deep passion for both.
