Join Chefs Ashley Christensen and Jim Burke for the inaugural IRC x Wilmington dinner benefitting the Independent Restaurant Coalition (IRC) at Le Cavalier. Two of the kindest and most talented figures in America’s culinary scene today will collaborate on a four-course menu fusing their unique styles for an unforgettable meal.
Ashley has received James Beard Foundation Awards for Best Chef Southeast (2014) and Outstanding Chef in America (2019), and was named Eater’s Best Chef in the Nation (2017). Her restaurants include beloved Raleigh, NC spots Poole’s Diner, Death & Taxes, Beasley’s Chicken + Honey, and ClubHouse. Ashley is a co-founder of IRC.
Jim Burke is Culinary Director of Wm. Mulherin’s Sons and will oversee the rollout of Method Co.’s restaurant and rooftop lounge at its new boutique hotel property in the historic Security Trust & Safe Deposit Building at 519 Market St. Jim’s past projects include James, where he served as chef-owner, a must-visit during its run in Bella Vista.
