VIENNA, VA — Red Galanga, a restaurant specializing in modern Asian cuisine, has closed on Church Street in Vienna. The restaurant was located at 144 Church Street NW since 2016. A Patch reporter observed the restaurant had still been open during the Church Street Stroll on Monday, Nov. 29. Now the business has posted a sign on its entrance and website announcing the closure. A reason for the closure was not shared. Patch has reached out to the restaurant for comment. Patrons are encouraged to visit sister restaurant Sweet Ginger, which specializes in Asian fusion at 120 Branch Road SE. Gift certificates for Red Galanga will be honored at Sweet Ginger.
