The Seamstress/Seamster will be responsible for sewing swimwear and activewear for RPM Training Co. Candidates should have a keen eye for quality and experience sewing repetitive, high volume work. The candidate must be energetic, creative, and be willing to learn. Some of the things you will do: * Sew swim and activewear * Read and understand patterns * Sew garments for all products according to technical specifications and patterns * Tag, bag and sticker finished garments * Ability to set up and maintain sewing equipment * Organizational skills * Communication skills (follow directions and instructions, ask questions to complete work as requested) * Attend team meetings and training as necessary to the position Who you are: * Knowledgeable about sewing and best practices * Adaptable and able to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment * Meticulous attention to detail Requirements: * Minimal 3 years of experience with sewing swimwear or activewear * Experience with the following types of machines is a must: * * overlock machine * * cover stitch machine * * straight stitch machine * Strong attention to accuracy and detail * Ability to meet deadlines and follow changing priorities * Good verbal communication skills * Adequate written communication skills * Dedicated team player Bonus: * Fabric cutting by hand and with the machine is a plus * Flat lock machine experience Location: Campbell, CA
