Ashburn Musician To Perform In Bridgewater College Holiday Show

BRIDGEWATER, VA — Juliann Jacobs, a Bridgewater College student from Ashburn, will be performing in upcoming Holiday Extravaganza events at the Concert Hall of the Carter Center for Worship and Music on the college's campus. The Holiday Extravaganza performances will take place Friday, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, at 3 p.m. Both shows will feature performances from Bridgewater's Chorale, Concert Choir, Symphonic Band and Jazz Ensemble. The performances are free and open to the public. Jacobs will perform as a percussionist with the symphonic band. The band's performance will include renditions of "African Holy Night" arranged by Robert W. Smith, "Haunted Sleigh Ride" by James Lord Pierpont and arranged by Brian Beck and "Sleigh Ride" by Leroy Anderson. The band will be directed by Associate Professor of Music Christine Carrillo.
