Press release from the Jefferson County Public Library: December 2, 2021 Submission deadline: December 13 Show off your holiday creativity and crown a winner at the Golden Library's Gingerbread House Challenge! After building your gingerbread house at home, bring it or a picture of it to the Golden Library for display before December 13. While supplies last, gingerbread house kits are available for pickup. Voting: December 13 - 16 Voting takes place in person at the Library and online between December 13 – 16. Make sure to come to the Golden Library and follow our Instagram account to vote on your favorites! Winners announced at the Holiday Open House Be the first to know whose gingerbread house is best in show at the Holiday Open House event on December 16. Stay for the festive crafts, makerspace demonstrations and merry cheer shared by your community. Check back here after the event to see pictures of the winning gingerbread houses.
