COOKSVILLE, MD — The Glenwood branch of the Howard County Library reopens Saturday, with a ribbon-cutting scheduled at 10 a.m. to welcome patrons back into the renovated space. During the day, there will be demos of the new makerspace, tours of the branch, and games on the patio. There will also be scavenger hunts for all ages, and a hot chocolate bar while supplies last. Join us next Saturday, Dec 4 for the reopening of our renovated Glenwood Branch. Also new at the library is a new teen area, a "builders' barn" and new shelving in the children's area, and two multi-use studios for classes and community meetings.
