NEWARK, NJ — The physical education departments at two dozen public schools in Newark recently got a $2,000 boost from Reebok.
The company's donation - $48,000 in all – was made as part of its Build Our Kids Success initiative. The money will help the schools purchase equipment and incentives for their PE programs over the school year.
The recipient schools of the grant include nine schools in the East/Central Ward, eight in the North Ward and five in the South/West Ward, along with Science Park High Middle School and NJ Regional Day School.
