The City of Marion and Marion Parks and Recreation are encouraging residents to get into the festive spirit by decking their homes and yards for the holidays. Decorators are invited to submit the address of their holiday light display in Marion so that others can also enjoy its beauty.
To encourage participation, a total of $500 in prizes will be awarded to five winning entries. Judges will determine the winners in four categories, and a People's Choice award recipient will be selected by the community through online voting.
Submit your address via the form at www.cityofmarion.org/holidaylights by Monday, Dec. 6 at 4 p.m. A map/listing will be published and available at the same URL by Dec. 8 at 4 p.m.
