Nextaff of Tacoma is looking to hire Event Staff through Pierce and King Counties! We have opportunities to work sporting events, concerts, conventions, and more at Venues like the Tacoma Dome, Climate Pledge Arena, Lumen Field, Husky Stadium, WAMU, and the Showare Center!! What You Will Receive: $18/hour pay! Earn an extra $0.50 per hour if you work 24+ hours in a week! Weekly Pay every Friday following your first full work week! Ability to work 25-35 hours in a week at your choice of event! Varying shift times Morning, Day, Evening, and Overnight are available for working! Get paid to create a memorable experience for yourself and event goers throughout the area! A working uniform to help identify you as Event Staff! What You Will be Doing: Event Staff are responsible for duties such as welcoming and ushering guests, bag checks and guest screening, providing exceptional customer service by working to enrich their visit, and assisting in all aspects of event day preparation and execution. Verifies entry into each venue, either collecting and/or scanning tickets, checking wristbands and badges, and directing traffic flow in the venue, offering directions when necessary. Shows a general understanding of the policies, procedures, and regulations of the different venues, facilities, and events that will be worked. Interactions with guests will include a smile and a personal and authentic greeting and thank you when they arrive at your concourse, entrance, aisle, or area, or leave from said locations. Provides guests with helpful directions and/or suggestions that will enhance their entertainment experience. What You Will Need: Candidates must be fully vaccinated, with at least two weeks since your last shot series to your first date of work, and able to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19. Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED. Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug test. Flexibility in scheduling, must be able to work overtime as needed! This would be a great part time addition to get extra cash for the holidays! Be professional, communicative, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
