Description
CHESTER COUNTY, PA — A Chester County man attacked the mother of his infant child while she was holding the baby in her arms, police said.
Jason Daniel Price, 35, of Oxford, faces charges of assault and endangering the welfare of a child, among other counts.
The incident occurred on Nov. 20 at around 1:21 a.m.
Shortly after Price and the mother had a child custody dispute, the victim attempted to leave the home with the baby in her arms, according to authorities.
That's when price began her attack, hitting the woman in the head at the top of a staircase, according to police.
During the attack on the victim, the baby's head hit a wall, police said. The baby was then "secured," but Price continued attacking the victim, kicking her in the stomach several times, according to authorities.
Price was arrested shortly thereafter. He was taken to Chester County Prison and held on $10,000 bail.
