Due to Covid19, the event originally planned for Saturday, August 15 at LCLHS to celebrate Phil's life has been rescheduled to a later date. Thank you for your RSVP to this Memorial + Celebration of Phil's Life. We are honored that you would join us. We are going to have a special presentation time honoring Phil, his life and legacy, sharing some stories, laughing /shedding some tears, and then we are going to celebrate in true Phil-fashion with food and friends; a social shindig! Because of COVID19 and the climate of our culture, we were not able to have an appropriate time of closure honoring Phil with each of you. So, please, join us for this very special day with the Coss family, the Thiermann family, and Phil's closest friends as we present a special service honoring Phil and then break out the tunes and food and celebrate. This is so important to us and we want to see you there. We want you to hug and love on the Coss and Thiermann family, especially mama Alex and baby Gabriel... as much as is appropriate considering social distancing and all that. This is why we are asking for RSVP registration for the event; so that we can properly anticipate the [big] number for the [big] day... And more importantly, as well, feed and fill you all. This is a time to celebrate, remember the good times; the "good ole' days" with Phil. We haven't seen many of you in years, maybe even a decade or more! We want you to be a part of this. Phil was a LIGHT everywhere he went; you all know that! So let's get out of our dark, lonely quarantine and socially distanced lives and mingle together... bring a facemask as desired... and let's share our stories, memories, songs, laughs, and tears. RSVP /REGISTER simply by letting us know that you're coming and how many are joining you (families, spouses, etc). If you'd like to make a donation as your RSVP, all those proceeds go to Alex and Gabriel and the expenses from this event. We were every bit "a handful" as much as we were contributors on sports teams and in the classroom. We have all gone on to college and careers, serving the Lord, and are grateful for the investment and vision you have put in us! See you on August 15th at 1 pm! We all look forward to catching up, sharing new stories of what God IS DOING, and HAS DONE for us. On behalf of both families, we say thank you and see you soon!
