SADDLEBACK VALLEY, CA. (November 2021) – The Saddleback Valley Chapter of National Charity League (NCL), Inc. celebrated the 38th Annual Fashion Show and Fundraising event. Nineteen beautiful young women, entering their fifth year of NCL, accompanied by several male models, walked down the runway with confidence, showcasing various fashion trends, including beautiful gowns and stylish tuxes as their final pieces. This year's event, themed "NCL in Paris", co-chaired by Liz Stein and Paige Morris, included Parisian photo stations, gift baskets and opportunity raffle drawing, as well as wine pull. Over 350 family, friends, and community supporters attended the event that was held at Westin South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California. The event spotlighted the junior class members who volunteer their time and energy in support of the local philanthropies that they have served and continue to serve over the course of their six years together in the organization. Despite the challenging year, the junior class, served its community with 808 hours of philanthropic service from 04-01-2020 to 11-30-2021. The Class of 2023 models included: Natasha Anderson, Makhenna August, Sydney Brummell, Katherine Caison, Victoria Champine, Taylor Dougherty, Mia Graham, Macy Johnston, Abigail Longacre, Ella Mitchell, Nadia Momtaz, Payton Polana, Jaidyn Portanova, Natalie Reilly, Alexa Richter, Katherine Ringsmuth, Lauren Robinson, Amira Tusko, Natalie Walters. They are junior class members from the following High Schools: Aliso Niguel, JSerra Catholic, Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo, Orange County School of the Arts, San Juan Hills, Santa Margarita Catholic, St. Margaret's Episcopal, Talega Preparatory Academy, Tesoro, and Trabuco Hills. The Male Models this year included:Zach Champine, Brooks Brummell, Blake Tusko, Lincoln Lantz, Alex Davidson, Cade Sego, Kal Myers. "It was an honor to be part of such an amazing event. Our Fashion Show is always a wonderful day, and we so appreciate the support of all the vendors that donated their products and services to our fundraising efforts, as well as the many volunteers who spent months planning the event." said Jen Caison, Saddleback Valley's Chapter President. All proceeds from this event benefitted 20 local philanthropies, which include: Alzheimer's OC, American Heart Association, Esperanza Special Education School, Florence Sylvester Senior Center, Laura's House, NEGU Foundation, Norman P. Murray Senior Center, Operation Help a Hero, Operation Valentine, Orange County Rescue Mission, Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation, Rainbow Kids Achievement Center, Rancho Santa Margarita Public Library, Rose Parade Petal Pushers, RSM Community Table, Shea Therapeutic Riding Center, South County Outreach, Susan G. Komen Foundation, TopSoccer, Yana Cancer Comfort. About National Charity League, Inc.
