Connect with other adoptive families in Wausau- Attention all adoptive, guardianship, foster, and kinship families! Grab the family and join the WI Adoption & Permanency Support Program for an afternoon of sledding (weather permitting.) No need to bring sleds as they provide all of the tubes. Sylvan Hill Park also provides a tow rope to get you back up the hill! WI APS did not rent out the hill, so there will be other families there as well. Event cost is $3 per person, WI APS will be covering the rest of the cost for all attendees! If you are only watching your kiddo tube, you will not be charged the fee. There will be a concession stand available, but those items will have to be purchased with your own funds. Please do NOT attend an event if you or anyone in your household is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath), or have been exposed to others who have experienced those symptoms within the last 14 days. Social distancing of at least 6 feet will be required. Please bring a mask for each person in your party to be used anytime social distancing of at least 6 feet cannot be maintained. Cancellation policy: To receive a refund (minus a small Eventbrite fee), you MUST cancel 3 business days before the event (by Wednesday, January 20th). If you cancel your registration AFTER January 20th or are a no show, you will not be refunded your registration fee.
