hello there! a little about me- i'm 25, been playing guitar since i was a teenager and was noodling on the bass off and on during those years too. i spend more time learning and practicing guitar now, but have always wanted the experience of holding it down in a band setting on bass and would be happy to dedicate my time to the bass if that's what your group needs. i played in a band for a few years during college and was able to get lots of experience playing on stage. i'm not necessarily looking to be in a group that plays out, but it's a ton of fun and wanted to mention it in case a band searching for a player reads this and is looking for that. i'm looking for anyone of any skill level who wants to get together to play some music, i currently don't have any musicians in my circle after moving back to the area during the pandemic. here's a list of artists that influence me so you can get a feel for my taste: Ween, Marty Robbins, The Band, John Prine, Motörhead, Bob Dylan, Wire, David Bowie, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, Dwarves, T. Rex, Fugazi, The Dead Milkmen, Wipers, Jefferson Airplane, Molly Hatchet, Pixies, The Clash, Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band, The Stooges, Meat Puppets, Ty Segall, Allman Brothers, The Beatles, Neil Young, The Velvet Underground, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Parliament Funkadelic, Devo i don't have the best spot to host (i live in an apartment), but am happy to pitch for a rehearsal spot if you don't have one either. i've got gear and transportation, and am available most evenings during the week and on the day/evening of weekends. hope to hear from you, shoot me an email/text!
