ST. MICHAEL, MN — St. Michael officials are encouraging residents to share their thoughts on the city's plans for the next two decades. The city is updating its comprehensive plan to determine goals and policies that will guide long-range land-use decisions and investments, officials said. The last update was made in 2005, with minor revisions made in 2018. "This update will look to reaffirm the City's vision and goals, while finding new opportunities to adapt to changing markets," officials said on the Forward 2040 website. Hospital The Forward 2040 update, which is being led by a steering committee of more than 20 residents and business owners, is expected to be completed in April. Residents can use an interactive map on the comprehensive plan's website to submit place-specific comments or take a short survey to share their thoughts on St. Michael's Forward 2040 plan.
