Description
Press release from the Clackamas County Government:
12/1/2021
The Housing Authority of Clackamas County (HACC) has begun its Supportive Housing Services Regional Long-Term Rent Assistance (RLRA) program with 29 households, all Population A (our most vulnerable community members), who will receive rent assistance beginning this month.
The RLRA team has been up-and-running for about a month, and has a goal of connecting 30 households with rental assistance vouchers per month (moving forward). The team utilized all 41 Emergency Housing Vouchers recently allotted to Clackamas County, making the county the first in Oregon to fully utilize this valuable resource. We credit our experienced rent assistance staff for this success – our team believes it will be able to provide long-term rent assistance to approximately 200 households by next July.
