Hello Denver guitarists. I am starting a band based on my original music, and auditioning guitar players in order to fill out the lineup. Please check out the link below, and listen to some of the music to see if you are interested. https://toberschorr.com/original-music/ All of the music is based in, or strongly influenced by, African and/or Afro-Diasporic musical styles: Afrobeat, Afro-Cuban, Jazz, Funk, Cumbia, Latin Jazz, etc. The goal is to practice monthly and then play shows. I have charts for all the songs and expect people to do homework, so that we can keep practice time to a minimum and be efficient. I will be guaranteeing the bandmembers' pay, and so I am only looking to work with people who hold a professional standard, both with their playing and their behavior.
