Press release from the Clackamas County Government: 12/1/2021 A Request for Proposal was issued in August for housing placement/navigation, case management and short-term rent assistance services. Through a competitive bid process, five community providers – two of which are culturally specific and new to Clackamas County – have been awarded contracts to begin the first wave of services.    Providers beginning services (November and December 2021)  Clackamas Women's Services El Programa Hispano Catòlico (culturally-specific provider)  Greater New Hope (culturally-specific provider) Impact NW Northwest Family Services  This first wave of contracted service awards work in conjunction with the Regional Long Term Rent Assistance program being operated by the Housing Authority of Clackamas County. Together these system components will assist with transitioning those who are in emergency, or time-limited programs to more permanent solutions.  Current contracted service components include: Supportive Housing Services/Case Management Helps vulnerable residents successfully transition into permanent housing with ongoing supportive services (or "wraparound" services), including assistance accessing behavioral and physical health care services, connecting to education and employment assistance, and landlord communication/dispute resolution. Housing Placement/Navigation Efforts to help residents find rental units. Can range from paying back-rent, application fees, rental opportunities.
