Darien Man Faces Domestic Battery Charges: Cops

DARIEN, IL — Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports: Domestic battery Philip Weisz, 52, of Darien, was arrested about 10 p.m. in the 100 block of Iris Lane on two counts of domestic battery. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. Vehicle burglary A vehicle was burglarized between 6 p.m. Nov. 24 and 2 a.m. Nov. 25 in the 7400 block of Brookdale Drive. Someone removed a mirror and stole a parking pass from the car. The loss was estimated at $100. Driving violations Brandon Geronimo-Figueroa, 20, of Chicago, was cited about 5 p.m. Nov. 22 at Cass Avenue and South Frontage Road on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. He was released and given a date to appear in court. Michael Lonie, 47, of Willowbrook, was cited about 2:30 p.m. Friday at Cass Avenue and Interstate 55 on charges of driving with a suspended license and speeding. He was speeding 70 mph in a 40 mph zone. He was released and given a date to appear in court. Justin Williams, 24, of Darien, was cited about 4 p.m. Saturday at Cass Avenue and South Frontage Road on charges of no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper bumpers. He was released and given a date to appear in court. Richardo Gonzalez-Torrijos, 28, of Chicago, was cited about 2 p.m. Sunday near Cass Avenue and 75th Street on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and smoked or tinted light cover. He was released and given a date to appear in court. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt.
