BUFFALO GROVE, IL — The following information comes from the Buffalo Grove Police Department (except when noted) and court records as a record of incidents reported to police and those arrested on criminal charges, which represent accusations by the state that are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court. Everyone arrested is presumed to be innocent unless found guilty in court beyond a reasonable doubt. ARRESTS WARRANT Gabriela Carrillo, 42, is accused of having a bond forfeiture warrant, and was arrested at 10:55 p.m. Nov. 26, in the 0-100 block of Raupp Boulevard. A court date of Dec. 30 was assigned. DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE Justin Scott, 21, of the 900 block of Sterling Avenue, Palatine, is accused of driving on a suspended license, driving while using an electronic communication device, and was arrested at 12:53 a.m. Nov. 27, at Buffalo Grove and Lake Cook roads. A court date of Nov. 27 was assigned. DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE Jean H. Paschelke, 58, of the 2000 block of Tower Drive, Glenview, is accused of driving under the influence, driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level over .08, operating an uninsured vehicle, operating a vehicle with an expired registration, and was arrested at 9:14 p.m. Nov. 27, at Lake Cook and McHenry roads. LAST WEEK: Plumber Pretends To Be Cop, Scolds Bad Parking At Store INCIDENTS CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY A park district employee reported at 7:20 a.m. Nov. 24, damage to plastic spinners on the playground equipment at Children's Park, 1000 Freemont Way. A resident in the 400 block of Burnt Ember Lane called police at 3 p.m. Nov. 26, to report someone had spray-painted their vehicle as it was parked in their driveway overnight. MOTORIST DISPUTE Two males were involved in a verbal altercation at 3:50 a.m. Nov. 24, in the parking lot of Woodman's Grocery Store, 1550 E. Deerfield Parkway. Both parties had left the scene prior to police arrival. FIRE Police assisted the fire department with a residential structure fire at 8:47 a.m. Nov. 25, in the 1000 block of Greenridge Road. SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT The emergency stop button was unknowingly activated at one of the gas pumps at 2:28 p.m. Nov. 25, at Woodman's Gas Station, 1515 E. Deerfield Parkway. This resulted in all the pumps being turned off for just over 24 hours, at which point, management realized they were not working. They responded to turn them back on. An employee of Circle K, 50 W. Lake Cook Road, reported at 8:45 p.m. Nov. 27, a customer attempted to steal a roll of scratch-off tickets while the store clerk was using the bathroom. The clerk confronted the customer prior to him leaving the store, at which point, he apologized and ran out of the store without the tickets. Stay Patched In!
