I'm looking to get together with a couple of other like-minded musicians and get a band going. I primarily have played punk and rock in the past but most of what I've been writing lately is like a cross between that and hard rock...but I definitely am not going to pigeonhole writing into 1 specific sound (no country, for sure, though). I'm a singer/guitarist/songwriter. I'd ideally like to find another guitarist or bassist in the M'boro area to make practices and writing sessions easier. Also will be looking for a drummer. I turned 40 a few months ago and have played and performed with another band this year, but mostly have spent the last 15 years focused on my professional career away from music. All that to say, my goal is to get together, jam, play some local gigs, and see where it goes. It's not in my current plans to quit my job and go tour the country, just so you know where my expectations are.
