Goldfish Swim School Franchising, LLC, the premier learn-to-swim franchise concept, recently recognized outstanding Goldfish Swim School performers across the United States and Canada at its highly anticipated virtual conference. The virtual conference, aptly titled, “Getting Back in the Swim of Things,” reconnected and energized the system after achieving remarkable success amid the pandemic while laying the foundation for an exceptional future ahead. Local entrepreneurs Mark, Nici, Paula and Wade Fleming of Goldfish Swim School – Rogers were honored with the 2020 Rookie of the Year Award.  Five core values – Creating a Golden Experience, Providing Wow! Customer Experience, Treating People with Integrity, Compassion & Trust, Meeting & Exceeding Expectations so you see Extraordinary Results, and Making a Big Deal out of Life’s Accomplishments by Remembering to Celebrate - solidify the foundation of the Goldfish Swim School franchise. The brand looks to franchisees to incorporate these guiding principles into the daily operations of their swim schools, as well as in their communities. The Franchise Office awarded five Goldfish Swim School teams that best represented and encompassed each individual core value. A 2020 and 2021 “School of the Year” and “Rookie of the Year” were also awarded, recognizing the schools that exemplify all core values. Additionally, Goldfish Swim School awarded several schools for exceptional enrollment rates, revenue, conversion rates and more.  The Rookie of the Year Award recognizes a stellar swim school that recently opened and has embodied all five of the Goldfish Swim School core values. The Flemings took a leap of faith, moved across the country and decided to open a Goldfish Swim School all amid the COVID-19 pandemic. They knew that opening the first Goldfish Swim School in the state of Arkansas would have a profound impact on not only their family, but on the thousands of families in their community whose children would benefit from learning crucial live-saving skills. The COVID-19 pandemic hit right as the Flemings were planning the grand opening of their swim school. Despite the obstacles they faced, they stuck with the plan, knowing they were building toward something bigger than themselves. Driven by their passion and support from the Goldfish Swim School Franchise Office, the Flemings, along with General Manager Jana Kennedy and Team Members, not only opened their swim school on-time, but in a safe and responsible manner that set the standard for aquatics facilities in the area. The vision always remained the same – create a safe, fun and welcoming environment for children to learn and grow. Their efforts have not gone unnoticed as they were recently recognized by Franchise Business Review as a Family-Owned Franchise Rock Star. The Goldfish Swim School – Rogers team has gone above and beyond not only in excelling at daily operations, but by truly engraining themselves in the community during their first year of business. From countless fundraisers such as a diaper drive for the Diaper Collective of NWA to raising more than $5,000 dollars to help get a Safe Haven Baby Box installed at the Rogers Fire Station, their passion for bettering the community and the Goldfish Swim School system does not go unnoticed.  “Throughout the challenges of the past 18 months, our core values and culture unified our franchise system and inspired accountability, creativity and resiliency that led to remarkable results,” said Chris McCuiston, CEO & Co-Founder of Goldfish Swim School. “This is a testament to our incredible franchisees like the Flemings who have built an incredible culture within their school, helping to bring our mission and vision to life each and every day. As a result of their hard work, paired with our exceptional Franchise Office Support Team, we have now exceeded our pre-COVID enrollment numbers systemwide, teaching more than 150,000 children each week how to be safer in and around the water, while growing our brand footprint to over 120 schools. These are incredible milestones that push the limit in terms of what’s next for our brand as we as we continue to actualize our company purpose.” The awards ceremony took place at the close of the virtual conference, which celebrated Goldfish Swim School’s incredible pandemic-performance, plans and goals for 2022 and beyond, in addition to executive keynote presentations and workshops aimed at sharing best practices to help franchisees prepare for an exciting year ahead. The Goldfish Swim School – Rogers team left with valuable insight into new and improved tools and resources to help them in continuing to provide Wow! Customer Service throughout the local community.
