Keefrider Custom Furniture (www.keefridersb.com) is a workshop specializing in custom designed handcrafted high-end wood furniture. We are seeking experienced woodworkers as well as general shop hands to help with projects and the day to day running of the workshop. Scheduling is part time to start but flexible, with the possibility of full time roles in the future. The workshop is open Monday-Saturday. Duties include: *Sanding - hand sanding, mechanical sanding *Milling - planing hardwood stock *General shop duties - inventory, maintenance and cleaning *Additional roles for skilled woodworkers including various aspects of fine furniture making such as joinery and finishing We are a busy workshop! We are looking for people with a positive attitude and a desire to learn and be part of a high energy team. The ability to take detailed direction and the stamina to keep up the pace of the workshop are essential. Perfection is key for our high end pieces, so you must be able to take constructive criticism and build skills. This is a physical job so the ability to lift heavy objects and stand and work for hours at a time is required. Pay DOE.
