Position: Trailer Tarper Location: Shippingsport, PA Pay: $15.00/hour Hours: M to F, 6 am to 3 pm Type: Temporary until the end of December Job Duties Include: (but not limited to) • Involves covering loaded 45-53 ft flatbed trailers with tarps and securing the load and tarps with bungee cords and 4-inch straps per customer, company and DOT standards. • Physical job that may require working indoors and outdoors and in all types of weather Job Summary • Tarps and secures product loaded on flatbed trailers for shipment and unsecures and untarps product on flatbed trailers for unloading • Follows oral and written duties and procedures • Place and secure poly and tarps on flatbed trailers as required on top of the loads • Observes all safety policies and wears the required Personal Protective Equipment at all times • Keeps work areas and truck lots clean and orderly • Employees work inside and outside. In case of snow employees remove the snow by shoveling the trailer. Permanent position which may require overtime work. Personal protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times. This includes hard hat, safety glasses, steel toe footwear, safety green uniform shirt (or reflective safety vest), and hearing protection (in specific areas). All required PPE & uniforms are provided by the company, except steel toe footwear. Work Schedule: Current workdays are Mon - Fri. Weekend work is practically never but may be required in extremely rare situations. Current hours of work are from 6 am until 3 pm. Overtime may be required. We are an EOE
